Night Owl PC was proud to be able to attend Star Trek Con 2011. We witnessed the meeting of and breaking the world record for most dressed costumed individuals at a convention. We had an enjoyable time checking out the sites and seeing so many individuals that are fascinated with Star Trek.

Leonard Nimoy says his final farewells at Star Trek Convention (upper middle left). My long time friend Jeff, as well as my wife Rosa shared this experience with me to just have some fun and say goodbye to a legend. We witnessed Nimoy speak just briefly about his life and his experiences in the film industry and what Star Trek did for his entire career. Memorials seen (up middle right and up bottom center) were setup to pay tribute to the passings of Gene and Majel Roddenberry; the creater of Star Trek and his wife, as well as DeForest Kelley, who played Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy.

Star Trek Convention managed to set a NEW world record for most dressed in costume at one convention. We took some time to meet some of the contestants.

Getting my rare 1979 TV Tray from "Star Trek The Motion Picture" (above) signed by Leonard Nimoy. His last signing for Star Trek Con. Mr. Nimoy opened up his final Star Trek showing with a video of what he plans to do after he retires from the convention.(below) He gave all who attended on Saturday 13th a special farewell as he went outside of his planned presitation and showed personal pictures of himself and behind the scenes looks at his time on Star Trek as well as other projects he did.
